April 11, 200521 yr Great numbers. But just like we shouldnt get down about the lack of offense, we shouldnt get too excited yet. I recall this team started out simply dominant last year in terms of starting pitching and bullpen. Only two guys maintained it all year-Pavano and Benitez.

Anyway, I was unimpressed by how Burnett responded in that inning. He had great stuff that night and either got very frustrated or lost concentration. He gave up 3 or 4 straight hits to the bottom of the Braves' lineup, which is as bad as you can get. Burnett still seems like a young pitcher out there, which to me is unacceptable because he is 28. I can live with immaturity and lack of composure from a kid who is 24. But at 28, you have to start to question make-up.
