April 25, 200521 yr ive had this argument about those garbage stats before but about with eddy curry.. and if you don't have the COMMON SENSE to think for yourself and see that the bulls are a better team with Eddy Curry on the floor because you use sabrametric crap to think for you, you're an idiot.
April 25, 200521 yr http://www.82games.com/04CHI8D.HTM 754246 Yeah he really hurt the Bulls today! 754254 i didn't say today. he was good today. and you guys can say the stats are bogus and blah blah blah but I happen to like them. 754258 Well if the Oakland A's have taught us anything, they have taught us that statistical analysis means NOTHING in the playoffs.

April 25, 200521 yr a lot of stats are useful, particularly when they can isolate a particular player's contributions (e.g. certain offensive baseball stats), but basketball +/- is the most piss-poor, suck-ass, ultra-flawed statistic ever. the stat is absurdly dependant on which situations you're used in, which teammates you play with, and which ones sit when you come onto the court. it's so butt-f***ingly atrocious at isolating an individual player's contribution that i'd say the stat is totally useless. hell, even dwyane wade has an overall net negative score (-0.1), which means the team does just as good with him off the court. strangely enough, typically when dwyane goes to sit on the bench, shaq comes in.
April 25, 200521 yr I never claimed it was the greatest stat of all time or that a player's worth should be completely determined by it. My comment was that as a bandwagon Wizards fan I'd like to see Nocioni on the court a lot because typically the Bulls do worse with him on the court as proven by the stat. Whether that is his fault or the players he is playing with doesn't really matter when you are the opposing team.

April 25, 200521 yr Great win for the Nugs. Neither team played particuarly well and the Spurs let this one slip away at home. Great win for the Nugs none the less.
April 25, 200521 yr With the way Denver is playing, the Spurs may have themselves a problem here. Beating them 4 of 6, with 3 of the games in Denver, is not easy.
April 25, 200521 yr This Suns/Grizzlies series, regardless of how long it goes or who wins, is going to own.
April 25, 200521 yr This Suns/Grizzlies series, regardless of how long it goes or who wins, is going to own. 754338 so fun to watch my favorite quote so far:"I think this pace favors the suns"
April 25, 200521 yr I wonder if Das is drinking away his problems yet. 754336 one loss is not a reason to go crazy and hit the bottle.
April 26, 200521 yr One of the TNT commenators said p***y on national TV. :o Will they fined for it? 754797 assuming he said it on TNT, no. they could take off their clothes and f*** right there on the basketball court and not get fined by the FCC, since TNT is on cable.

He was thinking about saying it and stuttered for a second and just said it.
