The Derek Lee Thread

Featured Replies

Derrek Lee has been the guy who always starts as slow as turtle and once June arrives he wakes up and finds out that the season started two months ago. :lol

April: .225

May: .240

June: .305

But he isn't clutch.

*uncomfortable silence*

lmao....

I Love watching D.lee, he is the MAN!!! his D is so Gold Glove like... and his 262 batting average is just as Good as Teddy Ballgame.....

oh cant for get we have played 105 games and he hs 59 RBI's "if that doesnt drop ya jaw? what will??"

not to mention the 22 Home Runs he has hit, he is so great, and so clutch

not much of a Diffrence between him and the Rookie Miggy, Miggy hits 350+ in RISP and lee just a 100 points lower.....

if Derrick Lee got hurt, we wouldnt even be contending,

D.Lee 4 MVP

:fyou

Derrek Lee- 1B - Florida Marlins Jul 28

Derrek Lee is day-to-day after partially dislocating a joint in his right shoulder.

Now it seems pretty likely that Lee's consecutive-game streak will come to an end. Still, if he can play, he will.

Here we go to shut all of u up guess what they talked to d.lee on foxnews and he said he is actually gonna try to play tommorow!(he said i'll probably play tommorow!)

At least the man has heart..........

At least the man has heart..........

Strength, endurance, skill, heart.

That's D-Lee...

Did I mention skill?

What are you talking about?

Whenever you talk about any Marlins player, the word P-I-M-P is always implied...

MIAMI (AP) _ Florida first baseman Derrek Lee left the Marlins' 3-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks in the eighth inning Monday after partially dislocating a joint in his right shoulder.

With two on in the eighth, he dived to his right trying to field Luis Gonzalez's grounder. Lee got the ball, raced to first with the ball, then dropped it and dived to pick it up again.

``When it first popped out it was pretty painful, but luckily my muscles caught it and it popped back in,'' Lee said.

Lee, who described the injury as ``just a scare,'' will treat the injury with ice overnight.

``There's no tears, there's good muscle strength, so we'll just have to see how it feels in the morning,'' Lee said.

Lee's 315 consecutive game streak is the third longest in the majors, and longest in the National League. It is also a Marlins' record.

that guy's a trooper :mischief

Every damn thread eventually degenerates into an argument about how great or awful Derek Lee is. I could start a thread on how the chicken fingers at Pro Player are actually not half bad, and 4 posts later it would be "I bet that chicken finger could hit better than .240 with runners in scoring position, etc, etc...."

Here you go gang...take sides and praise him or rip the heck out of him. Trade him, bench him, sign him to a 10 year deal, whatever.

Stop clogging up all the other threads with this stuff! Keep it here and you guys have a ball with it...

dude when i read this post, i thought you just wanted to watch an episode of Jerry Springer :jerry :fyou :censored :chair
