Lee has 300+ games streak i see em everyday, I was thinking Brain Banks who played 1b back in the minors how would he do with RISP..... and was starting to think when i was jamming to the game on the radio, was Like here Comes Kelesko.... was even thinking could move Ramon Castro to 1b... and see how he produces in RISP the man Castro needs P.T.....

Banks aint s***, Lee would've made that play work in the 9th with that bad throw Gonzalez made. Right now, we can work with Lee even if he doesnt hit because the team overall is playing well, Lee is the s*** with the glove so i would stick with him. he pretty much saved the game in the 8th when he got hurt. also, its Klesko, not Kelesko. baseball isnt just offense, you need pitching and defense, ask the Rockies from the mid-90's. the offense is flowing real well now.

July 29, 200323 yr I'm gonna pass on the "clutch" argument because 1. I threw the Reggie Jackson thing in there because were discussing it the other day, and then I saw that. I do believe there is clutch HITTING. I'm not sold either way on clutch HITTERS. If there are clutch football players and basketball players, I see no reason why there arent clutch hitters....but...I cant really find much proof (1. I suck at researching for that crap, 2. I get bored too easily, 3. I dont have the time, 4. this argument seems to turn into an argument over semantics). Well, I guess I didnt really pass on the "clutch" topic.... but, on to the topic at hand... Odom: YOU ARE A BLUBBERING, WIGGER, IDIOT! We would have lost the game tonite if it weren't for Lee. Banks would not have stopped that shot that he stopped. Unless we magically scored 2 in the 8th and 9th (off one of the top bullpens in the NL), we would have lost. And, if Loop would have lost it in the 9th, I would have put part of the blame on the fact that Lee was injured (he would have dug out that A-Gon throw). And, Odom....why would you want Klesko? His stats are worse than Lee's (and I believe he costs more too). It really seems like most of the intelligent posters are coming 'round to actually thinking "hey, maybe Lee is pretty valuable." His OPS with RISP is 3rd best on the team. How can you complain about Lee, when there are so many others that have fared worse w/RISP.
