Mephisto
Dillon has a really nice swing and real quick hands too. He swings a small bat too. Congrats to him on his first homer, and this is the second marlins rookie to get their first carrer homer against the rays, both game winners. Congrats Joe. 779325 :chair Mike Lowell ain't going anywhere! 779335 What do you suggest they do with Lowell? He is in a really bad slump. I think they should put Dillion in and let Lowell sit out for awhile, so that he can clear his head.

Since Lowell started playing with the Marlins in 1998 he has had a few of these slumps, and when he comes out he is really hot. For instance in 2003 when we won the world series, Mike started the season 8 for 72 and by the All- Star break he had 28 homers. If you just give him time he will come out of the slump. PBMarlin
What a great story. It was soooo exciting to see that ball come off the bat. A no doubter...line drive right over the LF scoreboard. Props to Inky for getting us back into the game, and Easley for turning it around.

I have been a Marlin fan since they first debut, just like you. :thumbup
Hotcorner
I was out at a restaurant watching when it happened. Had just mentioned to my wife, "you know this guy was a pretty decent home run hitter his last season in the minors..." I could've jumped up & cheered. Yet another cool-as-hell Marlin moment. Way to go Joe! Damn that was just awesome. :thumbup
