WPIX (WB 11 in New York) will have this game as well. They broadcast nationwide on channel 234 via Dish Network.

Very good!

Whenever the Marlins are on PAX you can also get them because their backhauls are in-the-clear on the Big Dishes. FSN games are up there in the Fox Digital Package but like the Dish Network package are blacked out unless you live here in Florida.

Yahoo! Sports Game Preview

Due to an injury to right-hander A.J. Burnett, the Florida Marlins will turn to veteran Frank Castillo when they open their four-game series with the struggling New York Mets.

Burnett was scheduled to pitch Thursday, but was scratched because of right elbow inflammation.

The Marlins, who had their season-high six-game winning streak snapped with an 8-5 loss to Philadelphia on Wednesday, will call up Castillo, a 36-year-old right-hander, from Triple-A Albuquerque to make the start.

Castillo, who was 5-2 with a 3.79 ERA for the Isotopes, went 82-103 with a 4.55 ERA during his 12-year major league career, spent previously with the Chicago Cubs, Colorado, Detroit, Toronto and Boston.

The Mets are coming off a forgettable three-game series in Atlanta.

Bad baserunning contributed to Monday's 8-6 loss, but the Mets couldn't generate any offense in losing 4-0 and 3-0 on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.

However, even with a four-game losing streak and his team back below .500 for the first time since being 13-14 on May 3, Mets manager Willie Randolph said he's not panicking.

``I still feel confident they will start swinging the bats the next day,'' Randolph said. ``There's no reason to shake things up. We may make changes here and there.''

Stat of the Day:

Juan Pierre vs. Kris Benson (Career):

5H, 2Triples, 3BB, 2SB .417BA (12AB)

Actually, the FSN feeds all left C-Band. :( Before they left, we were able to occasionally get some of them; if not Florida's, another's (like Milwaukee's last year). We'll have to do some channel surfing the next time PAX broadcasts, :mischief2 although they are probably on Ku-Band, which we unfortunately don't have.

I think the Marlins TV backhaul may be on K-Band. They are generally on AMC 4 according to MLBonTV.
