Malman
About five teams have expressed interested in acquiring left-hander Matt Perisho, who the Marlins designated for assignment Tuesday. The Marlins told suitors they would begin fielding offers upon conclusion of Wednesday's draft. Any chance we could swap Perisho for Ryan Drese? Aren't the Rangers in a similar situation after designating Drese for assignment? :mischief2

Shamrock
Would be neat if we could get a useable piece and someone to take his contract.

farmer_fran
Please let one of the NL East teams pick him up. That would be great.
locomotive9
As a strategic move, maybe we should just ship him off to the Mets, Nats or Braves FOR FREE!!!

geemoney
If we did trade him, I doubt we'd get much more than the dreaded "player to be named later."
FreshFish
If we did trade him, I doubt we'd get much more than the dreaded "player to be named later." 802130 or maybe a box of cracker jacks and a few bags of peanuts may do the trick

Admin
Yeah, Perisho is a very valuable guy in our pen but now with Bentz getting that Lefty out last game he is in trouble. 802133 I don't see how he's valuable seeing as he walks every one he faces. As for being in our pen, he's gone already anyway.
mva5580
People have interest in Matt Perisho????? HA!!! They could seriously trade him for a new training room table and I'd be satisfied.
strandedx02
As a strategic move, maybe we should just ship him off to the Mets, Nats or Braves FOR FREE!!! 802059 And then he'll come in to face Carlos in games down the stretch...yes, I'm very fond of this idea! :thumbup
rferry
One of these has to be Jim Bowden. Has to be! Really, why would anyone want a LOOGY that only walks lefties?
Accord
Just about ANY trade would be in our favor, even if it's for the Royals' bat boy.
