June 11, 200521 yr But this is why you dont get an opportunity to close games anymore! rangers are back in this thing 5-4 :confused
June 11, 200521 yr Author I say we take Mota and burn him at the stake. 804742 Mota is good but being out for three weeks has really affected him.
June 11, 200521 yr one would like to think i'd be nice to trade him for someone decent but the way he's pitching i don't think the royals would want him
June 11, 200521 yr Mota will be back on the DL within 2 weeks, there is still something wrong with his arm, guarnteed, you can call me Dr Andrews.
June 11, 200521 yr Ha! im glad he showed his true colors, everytime he comes into a ball game he doesn't or rarely gets the job done. And what makes me laugh is he actually wanted to take Todd Jones spot away. :mad

Straight as an arrow. Usually his fastball has good movement.
June 11, 200521 yr There is definitely something wrong with him. He hasn't been right all year, not even in spring training.
June 11, 200521 yr Good thing this game is almost over. 804937 It would be great if it would start pouring right about now.

June 11, 200521 yr Mota's been in a funk ever since he was moved to Florida. He had an average year last year with FLA after a white hot start with LA. He still probably has some value but that could be fleeting.

June 11, 200521 yr question for those who watched on TV, I was listening on radio Was he mixing his pitched or was the SOB being stuborn and throwing Fastball after fatball? It seems he doesn't use his changeup much.
June 11, 200521 yr At this point I wish we'd trade him too. 805123 I'm sure the Dodgers would want him back. Mota + Prospects for Penny?

Mota was throwing about 93-94 before injury, and after he has been throwing 95-98 consistantly.
June 11, 200521 yr He's thrown 95 twice. He has not thrown 98 at all, don't know what pipe dream you got that from.
