August 2, 200322 yr Did you guys notice which umpire it was? It was the same umpire a few games ago that called the strike against Pudge. Pudge screamed at him and he got thrown own. Then Pudge screamed at him more. This guy shouldn't be an umpire. NO OTHER UMPIRES CALLED THE BALK BESIDES HIM! It costed us the game!
August 2, 200322 yr It was not a balk. Leave it at that, the ump is biased, he is at second tomorrow. Hopefully he can do no harm there. Jack McKeon's comments: "I saw it," McKeon said. "There was no question he balked. He threw his head up, and he stopped. I called it before the umpire did. I was hoping they didn't see it." I don't think the ump is the one being biased here.
