If TO was traded to the Raiders

Featured Replies

I heard this on 790 with Boog before... thought it was an interesting discussion

I hate to admit it but absolutely. That though just makes me shudder. The fact that it's the Raiders doesn't help

they'd be at each others throats by the second game...no way would they share the spotlight with each other

Probably the greatest combo since Donovan throwing to TO in Philly. That worked out fine, so I'd say yeah.

Yes.

if egos don't get in the way.

I'd say the best combo ever was Jerry Rice in his prime and anyone else.

Kerry Collins would have to be drunk all the time for this to work....

Yea... on a video game.

Exactly.

No way in Hell could those two co-exist. Also, I'm curious if the Raiders are aware that they have to work with a salary cap.

Kerry Collins isn't a bad quarterback.. he's got a very good arm. Give him some weapons on offense and he should do fine.

I selfishly want to see Owens go to Oakland. I think the way that whole situation would ultimately unfold would be funny as hell because it would be a train wreck waiting to happen.

Possibly, though for now Rice/Owens is better among others

do you think there'd be a chance of egos NOT getting in the way?

What about Jerry Rice and TO? The year TO broke out as one of the best receivers in the NFL was the same year that was Jerry Rice's last year as one of the best receivers in the NFL

they both have the perfect personalities for the Raiders

at first it would be annoying...it's bad enough hearing all these raiders fans in the bay area talk about randy moss like he's the greatest athlete ever, and last year hearing them talk about Warren Sapp, and if they get TO i could only imagine how bad it would be, but once it blows up i can throw it back in their faces...

i just watched a replay of the super bowl and i am impressed to the max with owens. him and moss would be an amazing combination. both are big ego guys but i think TO is really about winning and would try to make it work.

Without a doubt...however, as said before, this is simply an "on paper" dominance, no way do they ever co-exist.

Sorry, but no...

Cris Carter, Jake Reed, Randy Moss is probably a better combo, Vikings circa 1998.

I think the two most underrated combos were:

Darnay Scott and Carl Pickens

Herman Moore and Brett Perriman

just because they were on your fantasy team, doesnt mean they were a good duo(Moore and Pickens were badass)

anyway, my pick for underrated would be Robert Brooks and Antonio Freeman

Yeah, Perriman and Moore sure didn't do much in 1995 as one of the better duos in NFL history:

Moore: 123 rec. 1686 yards 14 TDs

Perriman: 108 rec. 1488 yards 9 TDs

Oh wait, I only think they're good because they were on my fantasy football team when I was 9 years old.
