AGonzalez11
http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/basebal...-sports-marlins Reserve Josh Willingham may be headed for a stint on the disabled list due to a forearm strain. Willingham has four plate appearances since his June 24 promotion from Triple-A Albuquerque.
Iowa
Time for Dillon to get called up and not play
Michael
If the FO sent Lenny and Easley down, and brought Dillon and another hitter up, would Jack remember to use them??
PBMarlin
I guess that explains why Willy hasn't been playing. :confused

Admin
Josh Willingham expects to land on the DL with inflammation in his right forearm. He tweaked it in batting practice a week ago and says he needs about 10 days off to recover from it. That explains why he hasn't been playing. Jul. 6 - 8:48 am et -- RotoWorld.com Well that does explain why he hasn't played at all.

rferry
No mention of retroactive. Do you even fill the 25th roster spot in the mean time?
Marlins2003
One has to wonder if this is DL for convenience?

Marlins2003
Was it my imagination or did Boog absolutely refuse to discuss, completely ignoring the point that Mike Lowell has been problematic for a year, when posed by a caller? Boog tried to get the caller to admit that 225 ABs was too small a sample size to judge a three time all-star. The caller retorted that he's been in a funk since last mid-season. Boog wouldn't touch it, went on to Agon and LoDuca not hitting HRs. to quote Rferry, "Hmmm"...
wanks1212
So did Boog try and say that A-Gon and LoDuca's lack of power are the reason the offense is inconsistent? And that it was acceptable to judge them on 225 AB's but not Lowell?

Well to be accurate, he pointed to their lack of homeruns (as if to justify Lowell's lack of power stats) as a problem and discounted their improved battings averages because in Boog's words, BAs are meaningless.
