pb1300
I dont know if this was posted already, but Abreu was selected to represent Venezuela at the HR Derby, over Miggy. Im kind of dissapointed at that. I really want to see Miguel represent his country and the Marlins, and showcase his talents to the rest of the world. I think that MLB doesnt take advantage of the young talent the league has, they need to showcase the Willis', Cabreras, etc.
Michael
Cabrera to left, and gone. (812 feet!) *Crowd screams*
The Marlin Man
cabrera should be the one, he definetly has more raw power than abreu atleast he can hit 500 foot bombs in homerun showdown on MVP
MarlinGuru
Don't worry. Cabrera will be in it next year. :thumbup
JJ24
Id rather Abreu hit in it. He is overmatched and will overswing, possibly injuring himself and guess what Cabrera would start the allstar game then.

D-Train35
Obviously we would all like to see Cabrera over Abreu, but how many Phillies fans would agree with us?
catchoftheday
He made it in last year on the last man ballot, though. 841965  I knew he made it but I also knew that it was in some weird way ... like the last man ballot or through injury  finally he gets the recognition and thats all I care about

Guest Juanky
I wouldn't mind seeing Abreu, personally Better than Pudge representing Puerto Rico.....What the hell?
Guest FlummoxedLummox
Having country representatives in the derby is just flat out absurd. In a better scenario, both could play.

Guest Juanky
Abreu plays in the CIT. Cabrera plays at Dolphins Stadium. 842117 Yeah, but if they dress up the guy throwing to him in a Marlin uniform he'll set Homer Derby records
