Geez- as a woman, I would be embarrassed to even ask my bf/significant other to even consider buying me such an expensive item. It's the prestige. She'll use it twice- until the next hot thing comes along. And they're expensive not so much becuase they're good (they're not) but because they have created a demand. Happiness on the inside costs nothing.

And this girlfriend isnt high maintenance and rarely wants/would ask for things to be bought for her, but it is her 21st so I would like to get her something nice...I just dont get why this is the great thing...thats why I made this thread.
