It's been said 8,473 times on this board already, but putting Conine in left, with Cabby at third, would make the lineup stronger, once Enc comes back. Conine is really hitting well and he could make a difference in the lineup with Enc at the same time.

Tonight was ugly, but at least we got losses out of Houston, Atlanta, and DC. Lets hope A.J. pitches lights out and whoever pitches Thursday gives us a chance to take that game.

I dont think anyone believes Hermida is gonna be Cabrera. Maybe everyone on the boards hopes so eventually. But, I think he would put up solid numbers and defense out there. I want to get Encarnacion back too but I gotta wonder, whatever happend to Connie's power? We need someone in the line up with a bit more power, that is what we are seriously lacking right now.

Good point. We cannot rely on Cabs and Carlos as our only power source. Getting Enc back healthy would be a breath of fresh air but noone can predict he will be 100% the rest of the way. This is where Alex hitting for average this year is hurting us. The fact is we couldnt have seen this coming b/c noone would have predicted that Lowell, Niner, and Gonzo's power numbers would drop off. Especially Lowell. He looks like he struggles to even get the ball to the outfield.

Good point. I guess with Gonzo its you take what you can get. With Lowell it should be expected. Regardless I think a 100% healthy ENC will be a pleasure to have back as far as another power source goes.

I would like to see The Boy Called Cabs in 3rd again, and another benefit is having a guy like Mikey on the bench is that we have someone with legitmate extra base hit power for PH situations where you can't expect too much in terms of a double or HR from someone like Lenny who is more of a singles hitter.

Lowell is already struggling this year,if he doesn't get enough playing time he might play even worse

EDIT: Regarding Miggy playing third again.

Lowell is simply not producing for us. There is little reason to think he can turn it around this season. Let's keep Miggy at 3B and Conine in LF. That's a much better lineup.
