Two things I have NEVER said before..

I take back every bad thing i've ever said about you Ray Ray. The Mets were down 4-3 in the 8th to the Phillies, then good ole loveable Ramon Castro hits a 3 run jack and the Mets go on to win, thanks to Castro.

Had Castro not hit that home run, we wouldn't have gained any ground at all and now we're tied for the lead instead of being 1 GB :thumbup .

His toe must be feeling better.

Lets just hope any Mets surge dies this weekend in FL. :mischief

Just a suggestion on your sig--make your trademark a little smaller. That'll make the picture much more enjoyable.

Actually let's hope it dies for their last game against the Phillies.

No, if NY wins, they're still 1/2 game back. If Philly wins, they stay tied or go up if we lose...

depending on what happens in between (is there one or two games left in that series?)

yeah today, if they win today Mets are half a game and the Phils are a whole game. I'm talking about tomorrow. If the Mets win tomorrow, on our off day, they will tie us for the lead, but if they lose, the Phils will be half a game behind and the Mets will be a whole game behind, leaving everyone behind us.

But then again, if we beat up the Mets it won't matter anyways, so I guess it would be okay if they swept the Phils

cant I root for them both to lose?

Best case (assuming a Marlins win tonight) is a win by the Mets tonight (Pedro's pitching) and a Phillies win tomorrow.

I still hate him. I know the enemy of my enemy is my friend, but I'm not about to be his fan
