EndLine
Good AB! Not the dream AB Jeremy had but he worked the pitcher. What was it a 9 pitch at bat? That was a good play by Reyes as well. Can't wait to see him play more

Hollyberry
He probably had the best AB of any Marlin batter today I hope I see Andino and Hermida in the lineup JP- CF Luis-2B Miggy-3B Carlos-1B Niner-LF Hermida-RF Duca- C Andino-SS

Also be nice to see Aguila getting some starts in the OF, to give Pierre a days rest(he can complain all he wants, when he has a game or two of being in-effective at the plate, start Aguila in center). Beetle
Yes, he did look well in his one plate appearance today. Not really an indication of how he'll do the rest of the way -- but still good. I recommend he gets the start tomorrow in place of the ailing Alex.

All I want is to give Alex the time he needs to mend that elbow. That's the important thing. Giving Andino some starts in the mean time would be an added bonus. And from there, we'll be able judge his abilities better; still, let's be prudent and not rush the kid. From what I hear, he could still use some more time in the Minors. jservs7
I agree with putting in Andino. This isnt a move to replace A-Gon, its just to help him rest that elbow. I can think of another move to make though. :mischief

I dont trust 2 rookies hitting back to back in the lineup :confused Or we could even switch Niner and Duca.. That could work too.

Hollyberry
No need to take Ency out of the lineup. 929704[/snapback] I was thinking just tomorrow because of Livan.. He is a free swinger and I dont think that will come in handy tomorrow. We need paitence if we are going to do good against Livan.

Wouldnt hurt to try Hermida and Andino (Because Gonzo is hurting) in the lineup and see what they can do.

Gonzalez came out early today for a reason.

PBMarlin
Gonzo needs to rest that elbow. He cost us 3 runs today with his weak arm. Andino is a capable SS and shouldn't be much of a drop off at the plate. Alex normally should go on the DL, but no reason to do that really since the rosters have expanded.
