Mckeon might not be back next year

Featured Replies

It's been speculated that Jack doesn't want to come back too.

I would assume you're right. Girardi is Loria's top choice and Davey Johnson, Beinfest's.

A bit early, but the writers job is to review the head job positions of the teams heading into the offseason.

The best thing would be for Jack to ride off in the sunset as 2-time WS Winner with the team carrying him off the field at The Fens, The Bronx, The Cell, The Big A, McAfee, etc. after a game 6 or 7 victory.

My choice would be for Lou Pinella to take a drive down I-75 and come here, but Joe Girardi would be OK.

I think that unless the Marlins win the WS Jack is as good as gone, Ive been saying that since the beginning of the year. If the Marlins do win the WS the right thing to do is bring Jack back to defend his title. If the Marlins dont win the WS I def. envision the Marlins having a new manager. I do wish Jack the best and he will leave the organization as the winningest manager and best winning % amongst all Marlins Managers, no matter what happens.

its up to Jack. i think if we make it to the playoffs he will be back. if not he will stay with the team somehow in the front office
