Posted September 15, 200519 yr after reading some of the posts most people are fed up with aj...on and off the field. However there are some people who are stupid enough to bash me for bashing him. i wont name any names but... how do some justr take ajs bashing about the fans not coming out meanwhile he who has so much talent pitches like a minor leager. Fine just be aj's litlle you know what, but i wont take his antics any more. I dont see how some fans can still stand up for this arrogant punk.
September 15, 200519 yr you beat me to the punch, to answer the question in the other thread, he isnt even worth 8 mil a year. but of f***ing course you no some dip s*** GM is gonna give him a Beltran like contract, it never fails.
September 15, 200519 yr You know, if he had thrown a perfect game, you wouldn't have started a thread congratulating him. We know you hate the guy, so why don't you spare us your disgustingly spoken propaganda? We don't want to hear it and we're all quite frankly angry enough about the game as it is, for you to have to further this with your holier than thou "told you so omg im gonna go do my cat in the butt" is disgusting and I hope a meteor falls on your left big toe.
September 15, 200519 yr AJ is just out to prove he is a big game pitcher. :plain How could McKeon not have started him in the season opener? :plain We sure will miss him next year. :plain
September 15, 200519 yr I can't even stand to LOOK at this guy anymore - he is awful. You can't count on him in big games - heaven help us if we ARE in the playoffs and he starts an elimination game... :-0

I'm sure AJ would be on a very short leash.
September 15, 200519 yr Is it just me or has AJ been remarkable in every inning but the 2nd? You guys are just dying for reasons to hate AJ. It's kind of sad. (And for the record, I am not exactly his biggest fan either.)

(And for the record, I am not exactly his biggest fan either.) 945954 AJ gave away 3 runs in the 2nd, simply gave them away. He walked in runs facing the #8,9 hitters. That is about as anti-clutch as it gets.

September 15, 200519 yr He gets doubled off on a line drive to the pitcher. He slaps at the ball which kills a double play opportunity. There is very little good that can be said about any aspect of AJ's game tonight...the biggest game of his career. :plain

September 15, 200519 yr he walks the Pitcher again. What are you going to say, that Clemens is a great hitter?

September 15, 200519 yr Nice work AJ. One bad inning, kept it in check after that. Glad to see that he didn't let any more runs in despite his control problems. Had good stuff, just couldn't locate at times. Big improvement over his last few starts, let's hope it keeps getting better. In the mean time, some of you guys have to remember you are supposed to be Marlins fans and stop being jackasses.
September 15, 200519 yr 6 innings pitched, 3 runs. You can whine all you want, but we've had pitchers throw infinitely worse games this year. No?

If you talk crap, he should be able to take some crap back.
September 15, 200519 yr In contrast with Dontrelle, AJ puts negative energy into the game. After being spotted a run, AJ comes to bat in the top of the 2nd and watches 3 pitches go by with the bat on his shoulder, showing absolutely no intention to swing. Does anybody think that fires up his team mates? After giving up a lead off hit he promptly walks the tying run into scoring position on 4 pitches. Does that fire up his team mates? He gives up another single to load the bases and then walks in two runs to hand the lead over to the other team. He gives up another run before he gets out of the inning. 3 walks, 3 runs scored, 3 gifts. Does that fire up his team mates. It's no wonder the bats went quiet after all that. Sure the guys are pumped up and want to win this game, but AJs poor effort makes it tough to stay energized. Now with Dontrelle he plays the game the way it should be played. He gives it his all at the plate, on the bases, and on the mound and the team responds. It's one of the main reasons Dontrelle has 21 wins. AJ should take a page from Dontrelle's book. The youngster has a few lessons for him.
September 15, 200519 yr Congrats to AJ on the biggest game of his career. :plaindance 946338 :lol
