August 18, 200323 yr Pierre will not win it , He has to many " studs " over him like A.Jones & J.Edmonds That's only two people. If Pierre had an arm, he'd be a lock, no doubt about it.
August 18, 200323 yr Pudge and Pierre are my picks... Pierre will not win it , He has to many " studs " over him like A.Jones & J.Edmonds he deserves one though he's saved us a lot of runs this year and center...and some games to. remember that beautiful sliding catch in boston and than the throw to 2nd to end the game. he won the game for us defensively that day. plus many more of his great plays
August 18, 200323 yr remember that beautiful sliding catch in boston and than the throw to 2nd to end the game. How could you forget that? Oh yea, if you're a bandwagon fan and you never saw the play in the first place...
August 18, 200323 yr here is a site for Win Shares it is hard to understand but it can show hoe meaningful a player is to his team it also has D in mind, and an explanation in win shares take a look Win Shares
August 18, 200323 yr DLee is the best at 1B, Alex Cora is best at 2B, Brad Ausmus is at C, Dave Bell is at 3B but only .01 better than Lowell, Izturis at SS, Andruw Jones and Finley lead the OFers
August 18, 200323 yr So, they believe that Lowell and Lee should win GG's statistically. This is one of those things that is accurate, but not always. And another thing, has anyone thought about Encarnacion? No errors, 6 assists. Just a thought you might want to keep in the back of your mind...
August 18, 200323 yr outfield is all about flash. Encarnacion is consistent and reliable...but not flashy.
August 18, 200323 yr outfield is all about flash. Encarnacion is consistent and reliable...but not flashy. Pierre's flashyness (not a word) with Encarnacions cannon = the best CFer in the game. Too bad they are two different players.
August 18, 200323 yr Take it for what its worth, but I think this will be the IF GG: 1B- DLee (upset special ) 2B- Vidro SS- Renteria 3B- Rolen
August 18, 200323 yr I like alex more than anyone defensively at short if i'll have to pick one guy in the national league to play short for me it will be mr.alex gonzalez.
August 18, 200323 yr I like alex more than anyone defensively at short if i'll have to pick one guy in the national league to play short for me it will be mr.alex gonzalez. I'll alex on defense and edgar on offense
August 18, 200323 yr As for SS, thats up in the air, Jimmy Rollins or Alex Gonzalez could very well win it, as well as a few others like Renteria, Furcal etc. Furcal?????? WE talking about the same Furcal that has 28 errors? Rollins has the least errors out of all of the mentioned, But he also isn't as flashy as Renteria or Gonzalez. Renteria will win it though, He's so hyped up it's hard to imagine a "No name" like Agon winning it. Thome may only have two errors but he isn't nearly as good as Snow, Lee or Helton. Helon is having a rough year with 11 errors so he won't win it. Again, my pick at 1B is SNow but only because he's hyped up and Lee isn't. Pudge probably DOESNT deserve to win it and just may, just because he's Pudge Rodriguez. Matheny has 0 errors and only 3 passed balls Pudge gas 6 errors and 8 passed balls I love Pierre, But Jones and Edmonds are pretty much locks, so that only leaves one spot to fight over. Doies anyone know if outfield assists also count into the voting? IF so, that will definatley hurt his chances since he has a very weak arm. Castillo also has a good shot at it I Think, He's made a name for himself and there's no clear cut winner at 2B.
August 18, 200323 yr Pudge has gotten how many golden gloves? Do any of you think Dontrelle Willis will get a gold glove?
August 18, 200323 yr arguable, but most would agree Rolen is better defensively than Lowell... but if he wins a GG, thats awesome The only real reason Scott Rolen is considered "better" than Lowell is because Rollen has a stronger arm.
August 19, 200323 yr NL GG Infield, take this to heart: C: Mike Matheny 1B: Derrek Lee 2B: Luis Castillo SS: ORLANDO CABRERA 3B: Scott Rolen
August 19, 200323 yr Our Infield has been solid like always and D.Lee has made very good plays in back to back games and that Pick on the Mike Lowell Play. I know Perry Hill works hard with them and we have to give him Credit....
