It was intentional

Featured Replies

I was in the stadium, sitting in the power ally. I saw montreal's pitcher hit Mike lowell in his wrist. Automatically, as if he was expecting it, Montreal's catcher was standing in the way between Lowell and the pitcher, as if waiting for Mike to charge the mound. In my mind it was premeditated.

Does it matter if it was intentional or not?

Just hit Vidro or Vlad tommorrow and let it be over with.

It wasnt intentional. He was just standing in the middle because he knew he hit him hard. We will probally hit on if their hitters tommorow...

It looked intentional. NO BEANING THE EXPOS TOMORROW!

if it was intentional, than a nice hard fastball to the a** is the remedy. throw someone out there we dont use much to get the suspension

yup even though big red has been pitching bad lately, well not bad but the plan is let him pitch 6innings only!

I belive it was intentional 2 reasons why he would do it:

1. to attempt to increase the 'spos chances at the Wild Card

2.Almonte getting self-satisfaction(From Boston Series.)

It was also a fastball I believe....

How many times must I say it....No players will be suspened for retaliation...A warning will be issued.

#1 FishFan,

With all due respect, you are right. MLB would only give warnings, but MLB doesn't treat the Marlins the same as everybody else. they will give us the stiffest penalty they can.

I dont think Red will bean anyone. He isnt that type of person. I really dont know how to explain it but he wont it no one tommorow.

lol, you and your conspiracy theories cape.

...I'm not all for retaliation but we have no say in what will happen. We will see what happens tommorow....But,I swear,if any Marlins player is suspened for it I will explode. It would be another injustice.

lol, you and your conspiracy theories cape. IT ISN'T A CONSPIRACY! WATCH, IF THEY RETALIATE, MLB WILL GIVE US A BEATING. WE DON'T NEED TO RETALIATE IN ANY OTHER FORM THAN TO WIN THE GAME! THAT IS THE ULTIMATE RETALIATION FOR THOSE LOSERS.

A lot of the time, teamates pressure other teamates to retaliate. Redman may risk the respect of his teamates If he doesn't. But who knows the team may just be planning to concentrate on the game and nothing else.

actually Mussina didnt retalite when Pedro took out Jeter and Soriano a while ago and got the win. but im sure somebody eventually did, but im not sure

THAT IS THE ULTIMATE RETALIATION FOR THOSE LOSERS. There are retaliations everyday in baseball. If it's the first beaning of the game all there is, is a warning to each team not even an ejection. I'm sorry but I seriously doubt the people in charge of MLB are out to get us.

Hopefully, we will be responsible and honorable and not bean anyone so we don't have to even lift the eyebrow of MLB's Disclipinarians.
