marlins acquire Jeff Conine !

Boo Yeah!

Jeff Conine: .290 15 HR 80 RBI

Matt Stairs: .298 16 HR 46 RBI

And yes, Stairs does have a better OBP and Slugging, but Conine is hitting .294 against lefties and .289 against righties, whereas Stairs is hitting .208 against lefties. I'd rather have the guy we can play everyday, plus we don't have to watch Stairs play left field, which is a big plus.

stairs is battin .250

*calms down*

Sorry, I just really love Conine....I'm so glad to see him return. Admin Beinfest must have realized that he can help us in the long-run and that he was the best option. This is great!

Conine is cool and all. But, I'd rather the FO make good decisions

Did Beinfest overpay? Who did Admin give up to aquire Conine?

Well I remeber how I said we overpayed for Uggy and now we overpayed for Conine but like you guys told me:

Is about making a run now and now I'm excited even with the loss of two pitching prospect who I was looking foward to see in a marlins uni.

I KNEW IT WSAS GONNA HAPPEN!!I JUST WOKE UP AND FOUND THIS OUT MY FAVORITE PLAYER RETURNS!!!MR.MARLIN!!!

Take out your conine jersey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
