Jeff Conine: .290 15 HR 80 RBI Matt Stairs: .298 16 HR 46 RBI And yes, Stairs does have a better OBP and Slugging, but Conine is hitting .294 against lefties and .289 against righties, whereas Stairs is hitting .208 against lefties. I'd rather have the guy we can play everyday, plus we don't have to watch Stairs play left field, which is a big plus. stairs is battin .250
