Favorite Player

Featured Replies

So ya, it's been like forever since someone did one of these lame 'favorite player' threads, so I thought I'd rebreak the ice....

I guess you can put one of the new guys, but I figured you can't really know a player enough to truly like him unless you've seen him play on a consistent basis.

D Train is of course a stud and a big time marlins favorite of mine but my vote went to Jeremy Hermida. We have all seen what Willis can do, Im excited to watch Hermida day in and day out this season. I got the chance to talk to him after meeting his dad at Turner Field when the Marlins went up there to play the Braves towards the end of the year.. He has a great attitude and loves the game.

What's not to love about the D-Train?

I agree, it's just harder for me to identify a pitcher as my favorite player as opposed to a position player.

Funny you mention that, I just realized I forgot to put him. My bad.

My favorite Marlins player is Mike Low.... oh wait nevermind.

I guess my favorite is Juan Pier....... whoops I guess not him either.

1) Willis

2) Hermida

3) Olsen

4) Cabrera

5) Willingham

6) Lenny Harris

and the rest are toss ups.

I agree as well, he was at the most #4 or #5 on my favorites list before the firesale.

allright......i didn't know Nate Bump was posting on this site.........but it

s easily Miguel. He's been awesome from day one.

Who is Nate Bump on this site?

Hermida, cuz he's omgawesome. First Marlin prospect I really followed all the way through the minors into the big leagues. Plus he's a white guy with five tools. That never happens!

Olsen, Shadez, and Trelle follow closely behind. Chicks dig the long ball, Juanky digs the K's. That's why Olsen is there. Shadez makes it because he cures cancer with his tears and his amazing sunglasses. No explanation needed for the Train.

Why isn't Jason Vargas included? Money is going to be pissed.

Extremely.

+1 for Jason Vargas

Willingham the same # of votes as Cabrera?

I voted for Dontrelle but are you people nuts?

It's not a poll about who is the 'best', but rather who is your 'favorite'.

Willis

Willingham

Bump

Aguila

Any and all four. There's really no player on the team that I dislike or have little respect for, although if Lenny gets one more free roster pass or Miggy turns all 2004 Mike Lowell on us. These four are just guys I root for a little bit more.
