February 7, 200619 yr way to ignore your lack fo game clock management mike! want to know something. make your two field goals and actually have a clue when it comes to clock management and you are driving for the winning touchdown there in the fourth.

Exactly. Take a look in the damn mirror and stop bitching about refs (even if they were pretty bad). It's lame, accomplishes nothing, and overlooks the numerous errors made by you, your staff, and your players that contributed much, much more to the loss.
February 7, 200619 yr the hawks made mistakes but let's not gloss over the fact the refs were terrible of course he'll get fined for this - although it's not nearly as harsh as porters unfined comments..................................
February 7, 200619 yr What a whiner this guy is. Maybe he should've gotten his head out of his ass in the 2nd and 4th quarters and he might have won. Holmgren shown yesterday at a press conference.

And don't push off of a CB in front of a ref, and you're taking a knee on that final drive.
February 7, 200619 yr i mean ya that pass interference was a bit weak... but.. IT WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE ZEBRA! complaining about the zebras is bush league.
February 7, 200619 yr ?When they did that, they really want Peyton Manning and these guys to win the Super Bowl. They are just going to straight take it for them. I felt that they were like 'We don't even care if you know we're cheating. We're cheating for them.' ? - Joey Porter The shoe sure as hell is on the other foot now.
February 7, 200619 yr how about hope holding jackson right in front of the ref on that same play?!?! nuggett - did you call out porter after the indy game?
February 7, 200619 yr I don't think he should have said the fix is in basically and I think he should've been fined given that the NFL fines players over much less. I wasn't "calling him out" but I think he should have gotten a fine. So please, don't try to call me out on the Porter issue.

Where was peyton manning in this game? oh yea on Hole 18
February 7, 200619 yr way to ignore your lack fo game clock management mike! want to know something. make your two field goals and actually have a clue when it comes to clock management and you are driving for the winning touchdown there in the fourth. Because 50 and 54 yarders are gimmes.
February 7, 200619 yr BTW, anyone else think they should have gone for the 56 yard FG with 30 seconds left on 4th and 10, rather than risk losing the game then and there....AND losing more time.

What was the point of posting that if your so smart Tool The entire point of Passion posting that quote was that Joey Porter went from the side of getting screwed by the refs (against the Colts) to being benefitted by the other team getting screwed by the refs (the Seahawks). Also, I'm just assuming Passion was implying that Joey Porter probably won't gripe too much about the officiating in this case.

February 8, 200619 yr Well, the controversy was much bigger in the Steelers-Colts game since the whole world knew that was an interception, the pass interference could've gone either way, what if Jackson scored and they showed him pushing off, people would've complained on that but Holmgren really screwed up on his clock management.

February 8, 200619 yr This is not something a coach should be saying, even if he feels that way. It's beneath him.

He was so worried about the integrity of the game three weeks ago against the Colts, but suddenly, when the lack of integrity benefits him, he has no issue with it.

If you think Joey Porter made those comments because he was worried about the "integrity of the game" you're a fool.
