Did anyone see the T-Wolves game tonight? K.G. was banging down low in the paint and was called for an offensive foul, he was pissed so he LIGHTLY just tossed the ball behind him without even looking and the ball ended up hitting a fan who was sitting court side. And when I say he tossed it lightly, I mean he barely rolled the ball off his fingers. The fan ended up getting taken out of the arena on a stretcher and all the fans in attendance started booing him because it was so obvious he wasn't hurt and was just faking it probably looking for a lawsuit, it was great.

 

KG was suspended by the league for 1 game.

KG, from the highlights I saw, looked like he normally flipped the ball back to the ref which wasnt there and the ball managed to bop that dude in the face. Kinda rediculous they dragged him off on a stretcher. KG showed no intent to hurt anyone. This looked like an honest mistake that can happen when you let people sit right on the edge of the court. Its bound to happen once in a while.

Well you never know. Its possible the guy did take one the wrong way and got hurt. I def do not think he required a stretcher to be pulled out of there. At first I thought they weren't playing in Minny they way that fan reacted. KG even went over and aplogized to him.

 

Medical personnel examined the fan, who was wheeled from the court on a gurney to boos and later walked with his family and arena personnel to a back room. The fan declined to comment to the media. His condition wasn't immediately available, although he appeared to be uninjured.

 

"It was an accident and he apologized profusely," Wolves coach Dwane Casey said. Before leaving the arena, Garnett said he again checked in on the family to apologize.

 

"I should have had a little more control than that," Garnett said.

 

With in regards to NBA rules I feel they need to take into account the players intentions. Every fan is responsible to pay attention during games. Its like at a baseball game. You get popped with a flyball in the face its not the players fault. I know its not the best anology but you get what I mean. Sitting sideline during a basketball game you run the risk of getting hit with a ball, a player or even in the nuts by Dennis Rodman. :lol

Yeah I might have misworded that. KG was obviously tossing the ball to the baseline for the ref (IMHO). I am comparing a situation like this to the incident at Auburn Hills. It was quite obvious when Ron Artest threw a punch at a fan what his intentions were. Do you really think KG was trying to hurt a Minnesota Timberwolves fan? It sure didn't look that way.

I think the guy looks like a giant pansy, that way was thrown at maybe 2 mph. However, if I was in his situation, it would be worth the try to get some money out of the situation. I dont know if I would let them take me out in a stretcher but I might try and get a few bucks out of the situation.

earlier this year rashard lewis threw a ball into the crowd with much more force (i believe in MN) and hit a girl in the head
