Culpepper a Dolphin

Daunte is entering his prime. He just turned 29 in January. He'll recover fine.

And you know this, how?

I've actually torn all three major ligaments in my knee (ACL, MCL, PCL) like I think he did and age has nothing to do with your recovery time. I wouldn't just put it in the bag that he will be the exact same as he was before the injury or have no further complications from it.

You're just a big time hater when it come to anything related to sports in S.Florida.

What did I hate on? Someone acting like they know the severity of an injury and how the recovery would be when they brought up the persons age?

you do admit though that the body of a normal individual or even one in shape (which assuming you are bro) isnt the same as an athlete?

That said it isnt going to be something to rush him back from. We dont want him to rush this is a LONG term investment. We dont need to win it all and Gus is fine to start next year. Daunte can come in September and I am more then happy with that.

Stop flaming, Gooch. I stated my opinion. Someone mentioned that Daunte was old, and I just proved that he wasn't. He's in his prime. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh

draft marcus vick in the late rounds..

he's young but give him a few years he'll straighten.. I believe he can be better than his brother

I wouldn't Marcus Vick down here. I'd be too afraid of being shot.

Passion at least has a point though. I mean, I'm worried Carson Palmer will never be the same and he didn't even tear the PCL, just the other 2.

Then I get a couple of jack*** Viking fans saying that Miami gave up too much (#2 pick).

I've heard the same things, and really that's a stupid thing for some of these people here to say. Some people hate Culpepper so much it's ridiculous, even if he does leave alot of things to be desired at times.

Honestly I don't think this is a great trade for either team but it's solid for both. IMO the Vikings should have held onto Culpepper until his knee was healthy to see if he can boost his trade stock and the Dolphins should have gone after Brees because he's probably a better QB in their system (and without a superstar WR) and they wouldn't have had to give up the #2 to get him. Then again the 'Fins get a potential (key word) franchise QB for a #2 pick, and the Vikes get a second rounder for an injured QB coming off an atrocious year. So I guess it depends on your perspective and feelings about Culpeppr.
