Anybody else think Admin Brown is a moron?

Featured Replies

Seriously who gets in a war of words with their own players? Didn't he start the war of words?

No, Admin Brown isnt a moron. Isaiah Thomas is the moron who put these highly paid crappy players together. Let me ask you something. Has Admin Brown forgotten how to coach all of a sudden? When Thomas leaves the Knicks and someone with a brain takes over they will be fine. Dont forget Thomas has also traded away there first round picks for the next decade.

I'm actually glad Admin's fighting back, granted it's a little (ok, a lot) petty for him to be taking shots at his PG in the rags. It seemed like he was growing complacent and just accepting losing, at least he's showing some balls and making it know he's not happy with the status quo. And he's just saying what all the Marbury haters say all the time: he's selfish, every team has been worse after his tenure there, and he's way too full of himself.

The return of Starbury? I don't think it ever arrived.

And no, Admin Brown is not a moron. How many championships has he won? How many has Marbury won?

NEXT!!!

Can you blame him?

Dolan won't fire Thomas for whatever reason, the team can't trade Marbury because of his contract so Brown is doing his best to try to rock the boat.

Admin Brown won't walk away from the $40 million or whatever it is he's still owed, but he's sure trying his best to either get fired or get the type of team he wants put around him...and given the Knicks' situation, I don't see how doing that can cause someone to be moronic.

Championships have nothing to do with it. Coaches shouldn't be having a war of words through the media, with one of their own players period.

I think he's been pretty civil about it actually, Marbury has been a problem of sorts all season, enough is enough at some point.

While the roster construction was all Isaiah's fault, you could argue that Admin Brown is dumb for taking a job with a team managed by Isaiah Thomas.

No, but he has every right to call out a player that he feels is supposed to be the leader of this team. You don't think that coaches like Riley, Jackson and Brown hold a kind of respect and status to be able to light a fire under the @$$ of some of his players.

He has every right. Period.

It's his dream job. If you were offered the Marlins job but the rister consisted of a bunch of overpaid players who haven't proven anything -- would you take it?

Well, right now yeah, because I'd have no problem going from a college senior to a major league manager. However if I were an already a Hall of Fame coach and the team was GM'ed by Isaiah's MLB equivalent (a Jim Bowden with no concept of fiscal responsibility perhaps?), I'd be much more hesitant. I don't blame him for taking the Knicks job - what I think is dumb is taking any job when Isaiah is in charge of roster construction.

Now if Admin Brown is able to force Isaiah out, it's a different story.

No coach or player should ever use the media to throw any member of the same team under the bus. Marbury is an overrated, overpaid punk. But Brown should no better.

Keep it vanilla with the media, and blast a guy in private. Brown is a total drama queen. It's like he's some poor country bumpkin who keeps thinking he's speaking off the record.

Be mature, bight your tongue and win the war even if you have to lose the battle.

*Side note. I love seeing the Knicks in this mess. Let's hope they give Isiah an extension.

The national championship and NBA title winning coach, Admin Brown? Nah, I don't think so.

He's a moron, but for leaving the Pistons.

To be honest what is happening to the Knicks is a blessing to us, never have I been so amused by the totality of how poorly that team is constructed now and for years to come. It's a marvel really, a big crappy marvel.
