Him and Aguila are peas in a pod at the plate vs. major league pitching... just totally overmatched. He's not a major league player.. and I'm a little concerned as to why the powers that be haven't realized this yet.

July 18, 200620 yr keep getting them starts Reggie :thumbup Can I ask why? I mean, the answer used to be "we have no one better," and at that point, I knew going with Reggie was what was best. But now, we know Amezaga can get it done in the OF, or at least is serviceable out there. So why not go with him as the starter? It would be different if Reggie was improving, but he's still striking out at an alarming rate, and his defense is still generally pretty bad.

Ive been on the Reggie bandwagon since we acquired him last summer, and Im sticking to my guns I dont see why not just ride it out with Reggie for the rest of the season... so starting Amezaga might make us win a few more games(if thats even the case), but we aren't vying for a playoff spot at this point. sorry, something about Reggie makes me think he can be a pro ball player... every now and then he shows me/us something and Id rather keep seeing him start over anyone else we have you get me a Hunter Pence, Matt Kemp, Insertname Here, and Im all for sending Reggie down

July 18, 200620 yr I wish Reggie'd tryi bunting more or swinging less hard. I did enjoy his nice showing with his arm holding Zimmerman at second on that deep flyball to center.
