Does anyone watch this show???? Thoughts about it??? I think it's pretty cool but apparently there are some who find this show crap and the stuff he does fake. Personally, i still find it cool to watch....Some of the tricks he does are amazing.

I mean, obviously they're tricks and well designed ones, too...

 

I guess my main problem with the guy, and with David Blaine, is the holier than thou, "I'm a religious icon" take they have. They're showmen. Clever ones at that.

 

I just prefer more of a wink and a smile with my magic than, "these are not tricks, it's not possible for these to be tricks. It's all real!" take.

 

He can do some cool things, though.

Of course the stuff he does is fake and total crap and to find it otherwise is just stupid. I agree with the above buckeye that the dude takes himself too seriously. The camera makes the tricks look ever more impressive than they actually are.

The upper half is one of those people who has no pelvis or lower half and the 2nd half is most likely a contortionist by the full size of the legs.

 

No one who has just been pulled into two laughs and automatically knows how to 'arm walk' away.

ok but the point is....your not going to watch a magic show if your going to be ignorant and call it fake.....You'll watch magic if you enjoy it....I know it's fake but it's still a joy to watch.

As long as I have no clue how they're doing what they're doing, im good.

I recently started watching him and I think he is awesome... Obviously his tricks are not real but flawless I think... they definitely are believable

Ive seen the show a couple of times, and I agree that the while it is all fake, they do an exceptional job selling it to you, and making you "believe" its real, if for a few seconds...

Yeah.... No... Criss Angel > David Blaine on so many levels... but to each their own I suppose... I do agree with Buckeye about the religious context however... I don't see why these illusionists would even want to consider themselves 'religiously empowered'... or whatever...
