August 22, 200620 yr /noticias.info/ The Florida Marlins are set to host three of the most beloved characters from the Star Wars saga on Tuesday, Aug. 22. The visit, from a galaxy far, far away... it's their first-ever trip across the country. Chewbacca, Darth Vader and Wicket the Ewok, will visit Dolphin Stadium and kick off an 11-day national tour in celebration of the upcoming DVD release of the Star Wars Trilogy and the LEGO Stars Wars II: The Original Trilogy game from LucasArts. All three characters will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch as part of the pregame ceremonies. Also, Marlins fans will have the opportunity to win special Star Wars prizes through the various in-game promotions the team will run during the game. Unique player headshots and video clips from the Star Wars series will be featured in the video screens throughout the game. "We receive countless letters and e-mails telling us how much fans love Star Wars, and we wanted to give fans a chance to meet an interact with the characters," said Tom Warner, Senior Director of Marketing for Lucasfilm Ltd. Great seats are still available for any of the Marlins vs. Nationals games this week. Individual-game tickets can be purchased at the Dolphin Stadium Box Office, the Marlins en Miami store in Coral Gables, online at www.floridamarlins.com or by calling 1-877-MARLINS. http://www.noticias.info/asp/aspComunicado...12140&src=0

August 22, 200620 yr it sounds pretty good to me It's better than having the Vice President of so and so Bank throwing out the first pitch. I wish I would have known about it sooner and I would have gone out there tonight with my son.
