August 28, 200619 yr i agree about the nostalgia factor...I'm always tempted to go buy a teal cap both with and without the black lid just for nostalgia...but I usually resist because I realize I will never wear the dang thing
August 28, 200619 yr I think the teal with the black bill is way better, but still probably unwearable. The teal is a lot darker instead of the hyper-bright pastel it is on the all-teal hat.

August 29, 200619 yr the marlins need to bust out the miami marlins uniforms from the 50s every once in awhile. My complaint against the current set is the lack of teal. the marlins need to bring back a modernized teal uni set.

August 29, 200619 yr Shirts vs Skins? I guess they could just put the numbers on with body paint. Would make sliding a little dangerous though... In all seriousness, I like the Black tops, and I wouldn't mind seeing the Teal Mesh BPs. I own one, and like the strong team colored type of Jersey, just more striking and distinctive I think. Especially with us, since no one else wears teal. Not like the Red Sox, Cards, and Braves, etc with the bright red. Although I still like those Jerseys as well.
August 29, 200619 yr You know what would be a great compromise? The Sunday alternates but as a vest instead of a full jersey. Think the Reds and White Sox.
August 29, 200619 yr Yea I own a Black BP Jersey and the OLD Teal Mesh BP Jersey the same one Holly had in her post. Personally that Teal Jersey is what I wore to every game in 97 and I love that Jersey. The black one is ok but unless you see the front you don't know it's a Marlins Jersey. So when I goto games on the road I always wear my Teal Jersey. No way anyone can think that belongs to any team but the Marlins.
