October 13, 200620 yr Awesome. All those serial killers in the past (Bundy, Manson, etc.) have always intrigued me. Solid director and cast as well. Hope the trailer comes out soon.
October 13, 200620 yr I think I'd like to see this movie. Serial killers fascinate me. Some movies I'd recommend on serial killers are Ed Gein and Gacy. Don't bother with Dahmer, that movie sucked, despite the fascinating story.
October 13, 200620 yr Can't wait. I've heard a lot about The Zodiac Killer. From articles to TV bio's, this guy seemed too smart for everyone. And Jake Gyllenhaal is awesome.
October 13, 200620 yr I'm cautiously optimistic. I love Se7en, one of my favorite movies. And Donnie is quite the actor from what I've seen. But I fear The Black Dahlia has scarred me.
October 15, 200620 yr Well, the poster for this movie is really cool and the story for it has a lot of potential. We'll see how it plays out, though.

March 4, 200719 yr i'm iffy on this. i feel like for a movie that's almost three hours and the fact that they never found out who the murderer was, the ending isn't gonna give me satisfaction. the movie looks too dark/dreary for me though obviously that's the point. that concept worked well for se7en but who knows. i do like robert downey jr....
March 6, 200719 yr 10 bucks says they don't catch him. Man! Give that a spoiler tag. Hater. :mischief
March 9, 200719 yr AWESOME movie. Just awesome. Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey Jr. (who pretty much plays himself) were especially excellent. It's not a movie for everyone (slow moving, not a ton of action), but crime buffs and true mystery fans will love it.
March 10, 200719 yr Saw it Thursday, and I liked it. I do think that they should have found a way to make it a little shorter, but that was my only complaint.

March 16, 200719 yr Yeah, it was pretty well done. Fincher's movies have a distinctive look/atmosphere that I am unable to describe, but you're always aware you're watching one of his movies. I feel like he uses a lot of low angles, but then again I have no idea what I'm talking about. That scene by the lake was chilling. For me that kind of put the fascination with the Zodiac killer in perspective; you can get so caught up in the mystery of it all that it can be easy to overlook the brutality of what this guy did.
March 16, 200719 yr i really didnt get excited for this as weve seen our fair share of these movies.. but ill definitely give it a go after the reviews ive heard
July 25, 200719 yr Just watched it. Enthralling. 9/10 Don't buy the DVD, rent it. It has absolutely no special features. Wait for the Director's Cut in early '08.
