Fantasy Baseball For 07'

Featured Replies

If anyone know's of an opening in a serious fantasy baseball keeper league for 07' please let me know. I was in a really good one that unfortunatley disbanded, and would like to find another. My e-mail address is hmpalmetto@aol.com. Thanks

What all would it comprise to start one... if someone can give me a list... I dunno, maybe I can start it... as sad as it may be... I have OOTP 5 (outdated :p ) and the 2004 MLB Rosters good down to AAA on it... what more would we need? Also... I'd need some help actually learning to run it...

We can just use a free Yahoo! league. Next year, we each email the commish our 3-5 keeper players [whatever we agree to] and everyone else is put out to the pool.

The first year, we run a normal offline draft. The 2nd year, we all remove the keepers [except our own] from our list of eligible players. Everyone picks their keeper in their first couple of rounds and the draft continues from there. If anyone cheats, the commish can drop the player from that person's roster and let the rightful owner pick him up [thus giving the cheater a larger disadvantage by losing a high draft pick and helping the cheated by giving them an addition high draft pick - the person they picked instead PLUS their original property]. It should be pretty easy.

Well... as simple as that is... I was talking about the OOTP thing... I mean, in my mind, that would be better...

I'm definately partial to regular [keeper] fantasy baseball. Let's get a group together and we can vote on it. How does that sound?

Lets do the keeper league in Yahoo. And we get to keep 3-5 players?

just trying to keep one list...

I think it should be capped soon...

I'd like in... I need at least one competitive league, I lost my yearly friends league.

btw... i think sportsline is the better online FB option, its way better than yahoo. we would have to pay for the league but if we divide the expense its not that bad really

I think a 10 team league is big enough. Once you go bigger than that, teams get weaker and the liklihood of someone quitting a couple of weeks in is greater.

We can always have a couple of managers in reserve who could take over someone's team if they want to quit. You KNOW at least two people will want to quit by ASG...

What do you think?
