Heredia is the best soloution financially and he is a solid pitcher who can get out left-handed hitters.

I don't believe Loop is back, however. Ugy and Chad "The Yellow Dart" Fox give us two righties that can pitch very effectively to lefties (Chad had what, .205 against LH this year?). I like Joey Eischen as well, always have. If not Mike Myers has always been quite a specialist.

Let's be real here- this team is going to have to trim the fat so to speak in the payroll. We can't afford the $70-some-million payroll we're expected to have. Urbina is going to command a hefty paycheck. Closer money. Money that we really don't have. Looper isn't. Looper, as far as I know, isn't a free agent, and will come relatively cheap.

Considering we'll be about $20 mil. over this year, I think it WILL be about money in this case. Grudge with management? That's news to me.
