We went 3-0 against Dallas this year, and have won five straight dating back to last year 2. Dallas hasn't been able to handle the up-tempo offense and the play as you go style of play the Warriors have 3. Nelly built the system in Dallas and if anyone knows the way to beat them, it's him...plus all the key players on Dallas were there when Nelly coached them so he knows their strengths and weaknesses 4. Warriors have had a full team for 20 games (JRich, BD, Monta Ellis healthy, as well as having Jackson and Harrington), and have won 16 of them, and won 9 of the last 10 games down the stretch 5. Take away dirk, and the Warriors have a better team...any game that Dirk isn't at his best, the Warriors will likely win Regardless, we haven't been in the playoffs for 13 seasons (Nelly's last full year as head coach and it was Webber's rookie year), so regardless of what happens tonight I am ecstatic...fortunately the NBA now has the Gilbert Arenas rule which makes it a lot less likely we'll lose Monta like we loss Gilbert, so if we can re-sign him, look for the Warriors to be a top team in 2007-08 Anyone that thinks that Dallas will win easily is fooling themselves...the Mavs will still probably win, but there's no way they'll do it in four or five

Comes with the territory, you know? When they stop trying to tear down Wade, it probably means we've busted out of the playoffs, so let's hope they keep it up. I'm not buying any of this Golden State's gonna give Dallas a series nonsense. Granted, I'm basing this entirely on the fact that Dallas won 25 more games than GS this year, and not from any kind of first-hand knowledge at having seen any of their matchups...But still...matchups-schmatchups. Dallas in 5. I'll take Utah-Houston as the most competitive series. That one's going to be interesting. Chicago/Miami could go either way...but it could very easily be a blowout either way, depending largely on who even shows up for Miami and at what level...I'm not sure that series is going to end up as one of the better ones.

April 20, 200719 yr Author I'm just putting this stuff here for future reference. Its crap like that which shows why the Spurs are a bad team. We are lucky to win a playoff series and gonna be done in the second round if we get there. For some people that would be 'good'. Its crap though. Record means nothing dood. We are a bad basketball team, beating up on teams that really suck impresses me none. We cant beat Dallas and we cant beat Phoenix. Henceforth, we suck. I'm not overly interested in being a distant third. That 33-17 record is simply a mirage. When we lose in round 2, I'll say I told you so. Das, I just want to give you the chance to say I told you so.
