May 13, 200719 yr I'm sorry, but the field was in no condition to be played on. I hope it rains so badly RFK floods for a week. The 1:35 game today will be postponed hopefully.....there is no way that field will be safely dried for this afternoon's game.

May 13, 200719 yr Remember when saying "snakes on a plane" was like saying "sh*t happens"? Well, "Jorge Julio" is the new "snakes on a plane". Anytime anything goes horribly wrong, I'm just going to point my palms to the sky, shrug, and say "Jorge Julio, man...Jorge Julio". On a side note, if they made a movie called Jorge Julio On A Plane, I'd definitely check that out.

We all knew Julio had no chance but what happens his boyfriend Fredi brings him in. Julio 1st pitch almost hits zimmerman and then the next one right down the middle. May 13, 200719 yr Part of the blame still goes to Julio! Its not like he gave up a single. no he gave up a HR if this game is tied with no one on the HR still beats us and once again it took 2 pitches!!
May 13, 200719 yr Not to be a smartass, but Messenger and Gardner have both been better than Julio this year. Hell, for a stretch, Messenger was just on fire. Gardner pitched multiple innings of shutout relief. Julio is just that turd that refuses to go down no matter how many times you flush. And not in a good way. It was stated that even through his struggles that Julio was the closer when its all said and done. Owens probably could of went 10-10 in SVO with a 0.00 ERA and 15 K/9 and still got replaced by Julio. Beinfest is not going to let this awful experiment end without a fight.
