October 16, 200322 yr I LOVE THIS TEAM!!! This makes 1998 seem like a distant memory doesn't it? Who would've thought all those months ago when we were discussing spring training performances and predicting the team's record this year that the Marlins would be going to the WORLD SERIES. I don't know how long this will take to sink in. I couldn't even bear to post in the game thread. I just couldn't move. I just sat there in front of the TV with my friends, soaking it all in. This is pure bliss. This is why people love sports. This team rules. What an unbelievable bunch of guys. All heart, guts, talent, never-say-die, and they have FUN on top of everything else. I feel very fortunate to have been there for the ride this season. Still one more step to take, but I just can't tell you how much fun this has been. Thank you Marlins!

October 16, 200322 yr I loved the Marlins since 1997 and I always claimed them as my favorite team. I am not going to lie, 98, 99, 2000, 01, 02, I did not keep up with baseball as much as I am now. But, it is all worth it, because we made the world series. I knew this team was destined for glory after the mediocre 2001 and 2002 season, now look at us. Now, I will forever be a hardcore Marlins fan not a bandwagioner.
October 16, 200322 yr see atleast us marlin fans-weve waited since 97' for a w.s.-and there have been some very hard times in between but unlike cub fans we got a w.s.-how can u be a cubs fan when the whole reason why you would be a fan of a team is to watch them when thier #1-but the cubs haven't gone 2 the w.s. in a very long time-so how can u be a cubs fan when the whole reason why you should be a fan of a team isn't happening and hasn't happened in a long time?
