I have to believe there will be a consensus around here that the 7 run comeback in Boston has to top the list. That game was oozing with reasons why. It is the largest come from behind win in team history (Lowell's 3-run shot in the 9th plus Pierre doubling off a runner at second to end the game), getting embrassed the night before (11 batters reach before out is recorded, final score 25-8), and seemingly sparking the team to make its historic run (40-41 after that win, 51-30 the rest of the way).

discuss....

I don't remember the date but in '03 shortly after we got Conine back he hit a 3-run homer in the 7th in a home game agianst the Phillies. We were down 3-0 at the time and came back to win and I remember a really uplifting feeling after that ballgame.

This Win was big also because we were finally able to get back to .500 after trying about 5 times before. Really helps to set the tone for the rest of the series.

The game after the Boston Massacre was definitely one of the most important ones. You can throw in there the back to back walk offs against the Dodgers in '03; I believe they were courtesy of Mordecai and our back up catcher whose last name escapes me.

that game was incredible. I remember seeing the highlights on sportscenter (I missed the game), couldn't believe it.

The Boston comeback is the most important comeback win in Marlins history.

Yeah bro that game gave me chills...

Benitez coming in with the bases loaded and no outs after the previous pitcher had run up a 2-0 or 3-1 count and Benitez struck out the side without allowing a run.

Ah the Gagne game. I remember that I pretty much admitted defeat when Gagne came in and read later that we won. I did the exorcist head twirl out of excitement.

The Mordecai homers in 2003 were awesome. One against the Dodgers??

One of my favorite regular season games of all time was when we beat the phillies 12-1 (end of june) in the 2001 season. We had just taken 3 out 4 four at atlanta and were about 4-5 games over .500. It was the first time since the 97 season were it looked like we had a chance to be good. I remember millar hit a grand slam in that game. Sadly, a few weeks later came the infamous 5 game sweep at philly.

I think that game in Philly in 2003 where Niner was an absolute beast was pretty important... think he had an unreal catch into the wall too

Yea Gange was so ashamed he changed his name to greg huh..

One of my favorite regular season games was in 2005 when Paul Lo Duca capped off a bottom of the 9th comeback with a bloop single against the Brewers. I was there and it was the best Marlins game I've been to in 14 years.
