for the love of God, please, we need a win

We better freaking WIN this game.

Encarnacion with a 2run homer to left!

First lead of the series

2-0 Marlins

OMG STOP THE PRESSES

ALEX GONZALEZ HITS A HOME RUN

3-0 MARLINS

after a Mike Lowell snigle on a full count JUUUAAANNN E goes deep and the Marlins take their first lead of the year!!

doh! beat me to it ross :o

A-gon with a homer (lets hope this bodes well for alex this season)

marlins up 3-0

woohooo

It gives me tingles down my spine when a #8 hitter gets aboard or hits a homerun like A-GONE did with two outs. Now instead of starting the next inning with an almost sure out we have our leadoff man heading up with no outs. :)

My thoughts on Lowell: I'm sick of looking at his errant throws - I say trade him now and get something for him - we will lose him anyway at the end of the season. Bring in Cabrera. I'm over this sloppy play. It's not like he is a franchise player or something - he will be a gonner in 6 months - see ya.

nice to bring positivity ChristyTod

good job by Juan and AGon.....

Redman looking solid

both Castillo and Pierre ground out to the pitcher

Pudge rips one to the left field corner.....double

Mr Anti Clutch DLee is up... he gets hit by the pitch

Mike Lowell is up... lets hope he makes up for his defensive miscue... flies out to CF

top 4th.... Phillies 1 Marlins 3

Mike Lowell has provided a good amount of offense so far this season, but his defense has been atrocious along with the overall team defense. How many runs now have can be attributed to errors in the field? Errors do more damage than let runs in by letting the inning continue you put more strain on the pitcher mentally and physically. Let's play some defense and we win this game. :plain

Both Pierre and Castillo ground out meekly to the pitcher. Pudge promptly doubles with nobody on and two outs.

Lowell had a chance to give them some more breathing room but flies out.

Bell makes it 3-2 with a solo homer.

Redman struck out the side. He's definately throwing strikes today. Nice change from all the walks the past 2 games...

In the other NL East game being played this afternoon the Mets are losing 5-1 to the Chi Cubs and are up to bat in the bottom of the 4th.

Mark Redman still on the hill for the Fish.....

Vicente Padilla is up..... and Mark "Big Unit" Redman strikes him out

K#7 for Redman

Jimmy Rollins up now....pops out to 1st base on one pitch

Placido Polanco and he k's!

thru 4.5 innings, its still Phillies 2 Marlins 3

Red's 4 inning line: 5ip 4h 1er 8k 1bb.....his career high in K's is 9

You can count on this Ramp - I will bring REALISM - forget positivity or negativity.

I've been watching this team and posting on this board for a very longggggggggggggg time..................

Realism - the only way to root for the Lins.

Anyone else noticed Padilla's 2 HBP and 0BB numbers? Maybe some retaliation for the homers who knows just thought I'd point that out. And

Redman is looking masterful with 8 k's.

I'm currently watching the Cubs vs. Mets and all I can say is Mark Prior is gona win 20 this year...

Good Work Marlins, Juan E...

Padilla still pitching for the Phils

Luis Castillo is up...grounds out to 2nd base... close play, but he is out

Juan Pierre is up... lines a single to RF.....Abreu made a nice effort but trapped the ball

Pudge is at the plate.... hits a shot to LF.... back to the track..... Burrell makes the catch just in front of the fence

DLee is up..... he is not playing well to start the year(again).... a swing and a drive to deeeeeeep center.....but that's no man's land and Byrd makes the catch on the warning track

end of 5, its still 3-2 Fish
