August 1, 200719 yr One can pretty much make stats read into anything, yeah his numbers are good but until Gregg blows 3-4 saves in a row he's the man. Also on Gregg's ERA it has risen when pitching in non-save situations pretty much as all closers do.
August 1, 200719 yr Jason Wood: In career: 0.00 ERA He should be our closer!!! :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :hat :hat
August 1, 200719 yr Jason Wood: In career: 0.00 ERA He should be our closer!!! I said that back in Spring Training. Look it up.
August 1, 200719 yr Jason Wood: In career: 0.00 ERA He should be our closer!!! what are you talking about? he is the solution to our rotation problems. and he hasn't pitched much this year, so throw him out there on three days rest and i promise we'll win everytime!

Um, hello. Jason Wood is the best pitcher on the entire team.

The usage of relief aces only in "save situations" is the worst thing to happen to baseball since the designated hitter.
August 1, 200719 yr Author u guys never take anything so seriously, jason wood = closer hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaah u guys are so funny ........ and stupid
August 2, 200719 yr whats wrong anyway with lee gardner??? I think we're all surprised Gardner hasnt been shelled this season. You watch guys with alot of stuff on the Marlins struggle... Then you see Lee Gardner eat up two innings with a 87 mph midiocer sinker...
August 2, 200719 yr whats wrong anyway with lee gardner??? Nothing really. And you used stats to back yourelf up. But as usual stats can be used to back up anything if you include just those that you want and not include those that don't. And I think the biggest one you omitted was 22 saves in 24 opportunities. Lee has a job to do out of the pen and right now he is doing that very well. He's not a closer. He's not even an 8th inning guy, IMO. That job should be Bennies unless he is hurting and/or Miller Time.
August 2, 200719 yr Jason Wood: In career: 0.00 ERA He should be our closer!!! lmao!!! Lee has done pretty well this season but I still gotta go with Gregg for now.
