From floridamarlins.com:

MIAMI -- Career RBI No. 2 for rookie Alejandro De Aza turned out to be a big one.

De Aza lifted a walk-off sacrifice fly with the bases loaded in the 11th inning, sending the Marlins to a 4-3 win over the Braves in front of 11,539 at Dolphin Stadium on Tuesday.

The Marlins loaded the bases with one out off Braves reliever Oscar Villarreal in the 11th, setting up De Aza lifting a first pitch deep to right field. Matt Diaz caught the ball on the warning track, and Alfredo Amezaga raced home with the decisive run.

Amezaga walked with one out and went to third on Jeremy Hermida's double. Matt Treanor was intentionally walked to put the Braves in a bind with one out. De Aza, who has 107 career at-bats, now has two RBIs.

The Marlins won for the second time in their past 14 games.

Byung-Hyun Kim, who tossed a scoreless 11th, picked up the win. The Marlins improved to 5-5 in extra-inning games this season.

Six Marlins pitchers combined for a season-high 19 strikeouts, topping the 16 turned in against the Rockies on Aug. 1. The franchise record for strikeouts in a game is 22, on July 6, 2005, in a 12-inning affair with the Rockies.

Hermida, who had a career best 10-game hitting streak snapped on Monday, connected on a two-run homer off John Smoltz in the second inning.

Armando Benitez entered in the eighth inning with the Marlins ahead by two. But after walking Kelly Johnson to open the inning, Chipper Jones connected on an opposite-field, two-run homer with the count full, pulling Atlanta even.

Benitez thought he had Jones struck out on the previous pitch, a fastball low and away. But home-plate umpire Doug Eddings called the pitch a ball. Benitez's next offering was belted over the wall in left. It was Jones' fifth homer of the season -- and 32nd of his career -- against the Marlins.

Lifetime off Benitez, Jones is 3-for-12 with two home runs.

Also. BK pick up the lucky victory.

As I being a Korean, it's good to see BK again.

For the sake of our young arms I am very glad to see BK back. :D

Hurk pitched beautifully

oh ya.

and seriously, boey porter (haha) needs to send alfredo on that.

Another Marlins win for BK Kim.

Vandy was sick today, he deserved the win. 8Ks. Dealin'.

He is the Alpha. He is the Omega. He is the beginning, and tonight, the END!

And seriously, Hermida ripped it up. Both offensively and defensively.

The bullpen -Mando looked good tonight.

I think that's all. Good stuff.

I can't believe you actually listened to me.

I owe you for my discovery of the mystical powers of those flags when applied to baseball.

why so he can get thrown out by 25 feet?

agree totally and the bullpen pitched lights out with the exception of Benitez who needs to get moved to mop-up duty ala Jorge Julio (before being traded)

De Aza had a good game and everyone is back on the bandwagon?

This fanbase has peaks and valleys like no other I swear.

I was never off the DeAza 'bandwagon', 100ABs is nothing to judge a guy by, but I like his approach.

Good work by Henricus and Hermida.

Rab, great pictures, as always.

Finally a win. Hopefully they can finish strong and won't end up in last place....but at this point we're really looking towards next year.

Great game for Vanden Hurk......it's funny how he's actually our best starter right now (our pitching staff is such a mess)....nice clutch hitting in the 11th as well but Benitez continues to be disappointing - no wonder SF got rid of him. Kim looked pretty good though out of the bullpen. They should move him back into the rotation in place of Barone.

They should move him back into the rotation in place of Barone.

That's the plan, according to the papers today.

Someone above mentioned DeAza's 0-fer last night and yet it was the same DeAza who drove in the winning run.

It just proves again there is such a thing as a productive out and McKeon is still right that when you put the ball in play (vs strikeouts and DeAza had struck out his three previous at bats) good things happen.

I just think...and this is just my opinion...that De Aza is not a viable option for CF, long term.

I hope he proves me wrong, I just dont see it.

We get it.

-You did not join the KKK

-Willingham is not going to hit over .220 in his career

-Olivo sucked last year

-Mitre has sucked over the course of his career and continues to suck today

-De Aza is not a long term solution

-Bret Hayes will be the starting catcher next year
