Maybe...?

Do the Red Sox start showing their age more and more?

Is Matsuzaka the pitcher we saw in September?

Is Phil Hughes a product of New York hype?

Is ARod a Cub?

What on earth are the Yankees going to be able to do for their 2009 outfield?

Is there a limit to how much either club can spend to fix its expensive mistakes?

The Rays system has to be the envy of most any other team in baseball, but that's not good enough to win on its own, it needs money thrown in there, too.

Even though it discredits my point, I think Phil hughes would be hyped if he were playing for Pittsburgh... .86 career whip in the minors, besides the small sample size, my expectations for him are as high as anyones right now...

Hey, I agree. Hughes is legit, but it's still a 'what if.'

He is NOT a free agent after this season, he has two years of arbitration left.

The Rays have been rumored to want to buy out those years. That is what you are thinking of. He will absolutely be a Ray next season.

Edit: Late.

Edit: Youre' right... I was thinkin about the Rays buying out the arbi years

Wait, what is this 'will the Red Sox continue to show their age' crap?

Seriously?

Check the quote. 'Start' to show their age.

The top 3 OPS+ players on the 2007 Red Sox are on the wrong side of 30, and one's a free-agent.

Would this team give Boston and NY a run for their money?

Kazmir

Niemann

Price

Davis

Mcgee

Lf Crawford

DH Baldelli

Cf Upton

Rf Young

3B Longoria

1b Dukes

SS Bignac

2B Iwamura/Guzman/Nowak

C Navarro

Bullpen

Trade Mason or Townsend for pen help or switch to bullpen

Lineup? Good.

Rotation? Not so good.

We need James Shields.

If the prospects pan out like they're suppose to, that's an elite rotation...

Do you know those pitching prospects?

Do you know that you can't just slot pitching prospects in to a rotation with no major league experience?

Does this mean I'll be listening to even more promos for Rays baseball?

"Take me out the Rays game, take me out with the crowd, buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack, I don't care if I'll ever come back 'cause I'm havin' a real good time.....1-2-3 strikes your out at the ol' Rays game.....deet deet deet....Take me out to the Rays game!"

Im talking about the future... If these pitchers pan out, as big an if as it is, can they contest the Red Sox. He said the rotation is bad, as if I were saying slot the pitchers in there at opening day. Davis should start next season in AA for god sakes, Future. Instead of saying the rotation is bad, say its going to be tough for all of those starters to pan out.
