October 5, 200718 yr Author Look on the bright side: Last few seasons, we won our opener and we went no where. I think that it was a good experience for the team to just get their butts handed to them by not closing it out. I think they bounce back to have a very strong game Saturday.

They played a near perfect first two periods....what a letdown in the 3rd. You can't have those kind of lapses and expect to win....especially playing a team with as much talent as the Rangers. I can't help but think how different the game would have been if Peltonen had been able to get his stick on that rebound when he missed the wide-open net after the score was tied. All downhill from there. Good news is that there are still over 80 games left. Let's get two points on Saturday.
