Life sucks at times..

... and today would be an example.

Today I found out that a friend of mine was swimming w/ some friends in a lake. Not 100% sure what happened, but while swimming he was unable to make it back to the shore and went 18 feet under water. His friends searched for him but couldn't find him for a while. Paramedics eventually found him and, I assume he was unconscious. He stayed in the hospital on life support and they tested him without it for a few minutes. He was breathing but he was brain-dead. They put him back on for a couple more days then tested him again.

But, he wasn't breathing this time.

He was pronounced dead earlier today, 10/4/07, at the age of 15.

R.I.P., Chris Celin.

Terrible.

Sorry dude.

RIP

Least he's in a better place

im so sorry, RIP to your friend and I hope you start feeling better soon

Sorry to hear that. It always saddens when a person who loves life and has a lot to live dies needlessly at a young age and there's nothing to do about. It's really not fair.

RIP to that young man and prayers for his family.

I feel for you too Mikey. I lost a good friend of mine in high school and it is the most surreal thing that can ever happen to you. You'll feel every emotion you can think of. You may think some of them are innapropriate but they are almost always not, no mater what anyone says. Take it easy man and I wish you the best in your grieving process.

I'm really sorry to hear that. I know what it's like to lose those you care about. You have my condolences.
