BTW We were at the game Wed night vs the Nats and I asked around how they ( the fans that actually attend games) felt about the Manatees. Not one voiced anything negative. Not one.

Noone asked me. I would have said...well, who cares?...

We got mentioned on Conan O'Brien last night folks.

yeah I saw that....mission accomplished I guess :confused

Why a bunch of fat guys dancing makes a national program is beyond me. We're officially known as the florida manatees as far as the nation is concerned. And for those of you who are still happy with "any publicity is good publicty" then that moment was for you. After all, who cares about dignity and respect when we can have fat men representing a proffesional team?

God, who cares? After all, it's just a game! It's not as if they're harming anybody. If a group fat dudes randomly showed up to the games to dance, everyone would be laughing. Not whining so much. You're not the one out there making a fool out of yourself. Who cares what other people think about the Marlins and their fans. It's not as if people across the country would attend Marlins games if there was no "Manatees". A real fan should worry about the production on the field, instead of worrying about random fat guys dancing and having fun. After all, if they didn't think it would be fun, they wouldn't have tried out. Now I know a lot of you guys are going to bash me for this, but grow up. As if we don't have other things to complaint about.

Only 15 people showing up is pretty bad...

I can't help but laugh at this whole "dignity and respect" thing... How dramatic can you get? You must be the kind of person that gets pissed when someone laughs at you when you fall or something... "Respect me !"

But those 15 people wanted to be a part of it. I'm not saying this was a great idea, I'm just saying cut them some slack. Everyone is complaining more about this than the Cabrera trade.
