April 5, 200818 yr MLB Extra Innings is much better. Namely in terms of quality (obviously). I don't know what the blackout restrictions in Florida entail so you might want to research that or find someone here who has knowledge of them before you maker a purchase.

April 5, 200818 yr I was under the impression that MLB TV is easier to fool in that you can avoid blackout restrictions through your Zip Code. I don't know if this is true; I always assumed they used your credit card information and/or the IP address.

April 5, 200818 yr I was shocked that I could watch the Yankees game this afternoon on MLB.TV - I thought for sure the FOX blackout would be in effect. MLB Extra Innings wasn't carrying them, but will be showing the night (after 7 PM) games.

I was watching one of the Fox Saturday Baseball feeds on MLB.tv.
April 6, 200818 yr Author me too i sign up for mlb tv so i can watch other nl east team play and other team i was able see phy vs cinn that start 1:10pm that blockout on extras innng their have deal for past few years to allow games that play same time as fox to shown on mlb tv not on extas ininng

April 8, 200818 yr I use MLB TV, but I think the video quality is worse this year because they want people to subscribe to their higher quality streams. I like it most of the time, but opening day sucked because I couldn't connect to the Marlins game until about the 5th inning. Since then, it has been easy to connect to and I enjoy watching games. I am also glad that they got rid of the annoying sounds and music that plays between innings. When I finally switch to high-def in the home and get myself a 100 inch screen for my projector, I will probably start watching the games on TV instead of over the internet.

April 12, 200818 yr The Premium package for MLB TV is almost as expensive as Extra Innings is. I think it's like a $20 difference over the entire season. I'm trying to get a refund on my MLB TV that renewed itself and I'm having a difficult time doing so.

April 18, 200818 yr I've already called them and I sent an e-mail to a different e-mail address. After both, I've only received automated e-mails saying that they would look into it. Nothing more. I'm going to wait another week and if they don't recredit my account, I'll try that e-mail address. It's been far longer than the 10 day waiting period but they should have at least a record of my complaints. MLB.com customer service is among the worst I've encountered.

April 20, 200818 yr That's the number I dialed. They were some of the most unhelpful and incompetent customer service people I've dealt with. They gave me no resolve and just told me they would forward it to the financial division. The only feedback I've received was in the form of the aforementioned automated e-mail. They'll be hearing from me on Monday night if no money appears in my account.
