djm305
Here is a link to the official story http://florida.marlins.mlb.com/news/articl...sp&c_id=fla Willingham lands on DL with sore back Marlins recall Carroll; Ramirez will bat third in lineup on Friday
Hammerhead
Kind of strange after Fredi said he could've played last night but he was just being careful with him. The official site said he would almost certainly be in the lineup tonight but he goes to the DL three hours before the first pitch. Must've suffered a setback or something. Hammerhead
maybe Carroll will show something this time. He's already shown that he's one of if not the best defensive player in the system.

djm305
I get the feeling that Caroll is the type of player that needs consistency to play well. Every time he has been with the Marlins he only gets spot starts and pinch hits. But in AAA he is a starter and plays consistently. I believe that may be a reason why he has done well in AAA. Maybe we need to give him a few starts in a row to see what he is capable of?
MarlinFan10
It's a damn good thing we signed Gonzo.

geemoney
Carroll is what Vic Ketchman of the Jacksonville Jaguars team site would call a "jar on the shelf."
