canada-marlin24
Ok great comeback but i just wasnt feeling it.....i was waiting for something to happen.....2 outs no one on and then renyel walks two and then some rookie out of louisville wins it......we need to end this slide fast and were lucky the mets and phillies lost....our poor play against the reds has been a joke and its not only this year. That was our 7th straight loss at Great American Ballpark!!! And yes cody should be starting in center
Dr Beinfest
first time all year that our bullpen really really let us down. After they blew it when Nolasco only let in 2, Miller and Kensing that is, the Marlins put together some impressive crap. Whats worse? Another bullpen member let us down, Pinto. Oh well though, with our play in that game until the 9th inning (besides Nolasco) I dont think we really deserved that win anyways.
canada-marlin24
whether we deserved it or not it was there for the taking
Dr Beinfest
whether we deserved it or not it was there for the taking Yeah but I mean it makes it a lil easier for those who get angry at losses.
DTrainFan
that no call on that strike 3 was huge
Dr Beinfest
that no call on that strike 3 was huge And Hermida missing another catch in RF was even bigger. He could have had that if he didnt run like... right into it. He is a goofball for a fielder, unfortunately.

Madman81
Hermida needs to learn how to play the f***ing outfield.
DTrainFan
Back to earth? lol every team losses atleast 50 games, this was probably just one of those games.
Dr Beinfest
Back to earth? hey LA swept us, then we went on a rampage. Maybe we are just a rollercoaster ride of a team? Up and down and up and down. Hopefully we ride up more and going down is quick so we can get right back up again
canada-marlin24
Back to earth? be quiet with the back to earth sh*t already...... we are where we are becuase the Marlins are a good team and as a fan i expect them to win....sorry if you dont. Retro_Marlins25
I hope this isn't a trend like the last few seasons were we win two or three straight, then lose three or four straight.
canada-marlin24
either way the fact that we couldnt even split the series is a joke but we better get at least one

gomarlins9703
Well, Lary f***in Vanover strikes AGAIN. That guy is the worst ump i've ever seen. Blows a call every series we see him. Game Summary: f***in Vanover f***in Hermida f***in Ramirez f***in Porter f***in Cantu f***in Miller Last 2 nights we have served up runs to the Reds. Admin
That was a heartbreaker. Why the hell did Pinto walk two with the game tied again?! :banghead Oh and there was also that call made in the 5th inning. It was a strike right down the middle yet the ump didn't call it. The Reds can thank him for 2 of their runs. Damn, such a frustrating game to watch.  Tough game to lose especially after scoring 6 in the 9th. I really felt like throwing something at the tv at times.

Hammerhead
Anyways... I'm not a big Fredi basher but sending Pinto out for a second inning when he struggled mightily in the 9th wasn't too bright.
Marlins2003
I haven't watched most of the game (yet) but I did come in as Hermida blew the game open with yet another example of his poor defense. I think he's destined for left field at some point in his career but that's for a different thread. From the score it appeared that Nolasco had pitched a terrific game up to that point but sometimes boxscores don't tell the whole story.  How good was his performance last night?
