July 29, 200817 yr Just imagine if Mark Cuban purchased the Marlins from Loria. We could finally keep some guys and acutally bring guys in without having to worry about losing money because Mark is all about winning. We could lock up guys like hermida, cantu, and others to long term contracts and i guarantee that sort of safety in confidence in the ownership would drive up attendance and our stadium would've been done by now. I am an NBA fan also and he does all he can to win with the Mavericks and he would be a dream come true. What do you guys think?

July 29, 200817 yr Especially a year later, LOL. Cuban is about Winning, but he's not going to get butt raped with losses in revenue either. Cubs have a VERY loyal fan base, sellouts even in losing seasons. IDK if we've had one yet. I think the biggest draw in Miami for Cuban is that his last name is Cuban.
