Looks like Pinto is done for the year... I don't know if it's fatigue or what it is but he is completely inefective.

He needs to be shut down, completely overworked.

 

In 2007, he pitched 58.2 innings. Before the break, he pitched 51.2 innings.

 

He seriously needs to be shut down.

and it all started with uggla......both uggla and pinto have g2 go if you where the manager would you send uggla down as a message?

He doesn't suck, he's just in a long slump.

 

He's an all-star and one of the best hitting second basemen in all of the MLB.

 

If he sucks, then I guess Jacobs, Willingham, Hermia, Baker, Ross, Amezaga, etc. all suck too.

 

Sending him down would make him furious.

 

 

i don't care if uggla is an all star( no offense to you)..... hes been horrible. Uggla hasn't shown signs of getting out of the slump. i rather put cantu at 2nd and mcfearson at 3rd. sending him down would be a sign telling him to step it up or he is gone...i rather put anyone else at 2nd right now then uggla....fudge it bring up that chris guy i doubt he'll do worse. he has been holding us down with his stupid mistakes

Terrible game, just focus on getting a win tomorrow and be thankful the Mets lost.

But before I could even get up PINTO gets clobbered AGAIN. Why is Fredi still brining him in games? He should have been sent down or shut down for the rest of the year, put on the DL or something. Bring up somebody from the farm, like Tucker. Oh well, NOW I'm outta here.

The team was losing by 3...might as well, send your worst reliever (at the moment) out there, right now.

 

Bro, it was ONLY a 4-1 game. The game wasn't completely LOST yet, not until he brought in Pinto. I mean come on, dude; did you really expect him to pitch well? Pinto's as screwed up on the mound as Uggla is in the field and at bat!

 

Why would you bring in an important reliever (as if they haven't been overused already this year) when your team is down 3, and have mustered a total of 3 hits, tonight?

 

If Pinto pitches a scoreless inning, no one even blames Fredi for that. He was trying to get Pinto back on track, and it didn't work. Expect him to be in the minors, tomorrow.

Uggla has been one of the top defensive 2B in the league this year. And yes, I can back that up with tons of evidence.
