August 24, 200818 yr fredi mismanaged him during the first half of the season , i know our starting pitching sucked for awhile but you cant literally run quality relief pitchers out almost every single day and not expect for it to have an effect later in the season

Fredi has been doing the right thing, trying to let him rest and then bringing him to work back to form. But I think it has been shown by now that he can't do it.

August 24, 200818 yr Just send him down. Call up taylor tankersley and send him down, he earned it. Agreed, Tank's been doing a good job in AAA and most importantly has cut down on the walks as of late.

August 24, 200818 yr This is something that was inevitable to many of us. Everyday Pinto could only be Everyday Pinto for so long. He is spent. It's been obvious for a while now that he needs to be shut down. Shut him down before he hurts himself and hinders his ability next year.

I really don't care if it's Tank, Tucker, Miller, or even Miller, but I think Pinto needs to be put on the 60-man with "dead arm syndrome".
